David Pelcovitz is a clinical psychologist, whose career over the past 40 years has focused on clinical practice and research efforts in areas related to trauma, child abuse and parenting. He is currently the Straus Chair in Psychology and Education at the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education at Yeshiva University, where he also serves as Special Assistant to the president as well as teach courses in Pastoral Psychology to the Yeshiva's Rabbinical students.
