DIALOGUE: Pri Bratislavskej pyramíde (At the Bratislava Pyramid) Anna: Pozri, Tomáš! Vidím, že tá budova vyzerá ako pyramída hore nohami. (Look, Tomáš! I see that the building looks like an upside-down pyramid.) Tomáš: Áno, je to Slovenský rozhlas. Vedel si, že ju stavali šestnásť rokov? (Yes, it's Slovak Radio Building. Did you know that it took sixteen years to build?) Anna: Naozaj? Nevedela som. Vyzerá ... nezvyčajne. (Really? I didn't know. It looks... unusual.) Tomáš: Povedz rovno, že je škaredá. (Just say it's ugly.) Anna: Nemyslím si, že je škaredá. Je zvláštna, ale aj zaujímavá. (I don't think it's ugly. It's strange, but also interesting.) Tomáš: Som rád, že sa ti páči. Vo vnútri je koncertná sála a veľký organ so 6 300 píšťalami. (I'm glad you like it. Inside there's a concert hall and a large organ with 6,300 pipes.) Anna: Vieš, či sa tam dá ísť na koncert? (Do you know if you can go to a concert there?) Tomáš: Myslím, že áno. Počas koncertov je koncertná sála otvorená pre verejnosť. (I think so. During concerts, the concert hall is open to the public.) Anna: Výborne! Som rada, že som sa o tejto budove dozvedela. (Excellent! I'm glad I found out [alebo: learned?] about this building.)
