How to spot truth from scam when it comes to online ads

Gardaí have identified at least 20 victims who were scammed into buying fake tickets for the sold-out Electric Picnic festival. Also almost 100 Facebook pages have posted more than 50,000 ads on the site falsely presenting themselves as legitimate Irish stores. That’s according to a new report from the Journal Investigates. How do you sport truth from scam when it comes to online scams.
