How to Stand Up to Bullies and Stop Letting Other People Intimidate You

from Support, Protect, Empower - The Project Purpose Podcast · host Rachelle Innocent

How to Stand Up to Bullies and Stop Letting Other People Intimidate YouWe've all experienced that moment when we set a boundary and our desires were dismissed. For some of us, this may have ended there but for others it could have gotten worse. It's a problem when someone thinks that your agency and your basic human rights is a barrier to whatever they're hoping to access. We see how that kind of barbarism evolves when it's left unchecked when looking at what's going on at a global scale. But it starts with the choices we make on a daily basis. It's time that we stop letting the bullies "off the hook." Holding people accountable for the smaller things makes trying to get away with the bigger things less plausible. We have too many people in positions of power who could have benefited from being put in their place when the issues were smaller and more easy to manage. So, it's a lesson for all of us. Don't let leniency be the reason why we enable bullies to become emboldened in their aggression. We need to take a stand.#growth #mindset #intimidation # strengthDo you have any questions?
