How to Stay Focused & Motivated When There's So Much Distraction Going On

from Create with Elyse · host Elyse-Anne

44: 🙋‍♀️I agree it's hard to stay focused especially when EVERYONE is at home and if you're staying at home alone, it's hard to focus when your mind is chattering non stop. So, the key is not make distraction a problem. There's a reason why you get distracted so easily. I seriously crave out time for me to be distracted and doing mindless activities like playing games or watching a rom com. The idea is to keep my mind off thinking. Of course, I meditate every morning so that keeps me grounded. There must be a reward for doing what you want to do stay on course right? You won't want to lose weight for no reason. So the reason and reward must be more alluring than your excuses. Start with doing the activities that makes you happy and don't feel guilty about enjoying whatever makes you happy. If you don't feel like like mopping the floor today, screw it! Sit down, chill and have a cup of coffee. No one is keeping tabs on you. If you don't feel like making the bed today, screw it! Just lie on your bed like a star fish and watch the time go by. Train your body to say yes to what feels good and then you'll find yourself more focused and motivated. Watch the video for more tips and let me know what's your personal tips to stay focused and motivated.⠀ ⠀ ❤ @iamelyseanne
