As someone who used to refer to myself as a "recovered perfectionist", I can be honest and admit that I am still a work in progress. We live in a society that's driven by achievement, productivity, constantly being "on the go" and never allowing time to just "be". This creates anxiety, an extreme sense of urgency, scarcity and pressure. This is NOT the recipe for a peaceful life.
