How to Stop Second Guessing Your Career Decisions

from PowerToFly · host Nicole Felter

By Melissa Whitehead from Kensho Technologies.  Throughout my journey, starting as a computer science undergrad at the University of Michigan, self-doubt would be a regular travel companion. If I didn't enjoy a particular class, did that mean perhaps I wasn't meant to be in this field? Years later, when my husband and I decided to expand our family beyond our dog, I had a desire to stay home with our first child. Would my career have to wait? Could I do both [well]? Would I be able to hop back in if I took time off? Over time, I've been able to reflect on the decisions I've made and hone my ability to weigh the trade-offs in choices life presents. Self-doubt, especially as a woman in tech, doesn't magically disappear one day...but like so many other aspects of life, you can learn how to take control of it. In this chat, my hope is to help you Set yourself up for success in tech More confidently weigh opportunities & decisions Combat self-doubt along your journey
