Send us Fan MailPete's latest guest, Lucas Gore is in his 4th year as the Goalie Coach for the WHL Spokane Chiefs and works as the Goaltending Development Director with the Okanagan Hockey Academy.  He is also part owner of The Goalie Group a seasoned goalie with experience in leagues like the BCHL and U Sports, shares his invaluable insights on the goalie mindset and what it takes to succeed in the demanding position. From his personal journey transitioning to full-time goaltending to overcoming challenges and seizing opportunities, Gore's story is both inspiring and relatable. He emphasizes the importance of commitment, continual development, and mental resilience, while also providing practical tips on fundamental skills like skating and puck tracking. Before joining the "Chiefs" Lucas spent time coaching with the Kamloops Blazers (WHL) and Prince George Spruce Kings (BCHL). Prior to coaching Gore played one season with Vernon Vipers (BCHL) before playing three full seasons with Chilliwack Bruins (WHL). He moved on to play four years at the University of Regina then finished his playing career with Stockton Thunder (ECHL).
