If not, why/what happens?"Keep a Health Journal/Log: Include concerns, symptoms, vitals, lifestyle changes, and plans for change (i.e., exercise).Prioritize: Pre-prioritize your questions and concerns for the visit.Medication List: Make a list of all medications (times, dosages, how they work for you) and all supplements with dosages.Support: If desired, bring a companion to take notes or be there for support.Take Notes: Bring something to record your doctor's advice and instructions.Avoid Beforehand: Skip the alcohol, high-fat foods, large amounts of caffeine, and smoking prior to your appointment.Key Questions for Your Doctor"Are you going to change up my medications/inhalers? Why or why not?"Discuss creating or updating The Action Plan to track trouble."Am I due for any tests?
