How to Think About Music - David Francis [Sunday School]

In Part 3 of October 2025's Sunday school series "Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs: A Musical Literacy Workshop," David Francis explores how we can listen to music intentionally. David Francis is a Huntsville native and a ruling elder at Trinity. Like the majority of HSV, he works in the defense contracting world: specifically, in navigating autonomous vehicles. He earned a PhD at Mississippi State University in mechanical engineering and also had his 3 children with his wife Emily in Starkville. He’s an amateur musician and enjoys building/designing things: from woodworking, to businesses, to churches.
