How to turn 2025 into a radical act of Self-care - with Valentina Thayer.
from The Soft Rebellion Podcast · host Flurina Thali
Imagine a world where women meet with other women as the year comes to an end, together they reflect, process and collectively lean into their dreams and wishes for the new beginning, and because they do, the collective space holding and honoring awakens and plants the seed of their greatest vision and desire. This is today’s conversation. A radical act of self-care. Intimate. Inspiring. I am joined by my friend Valentina Thayer, a menstrual cycle coach & fertility awareness educator. Living in a world where the female body is often misunderstood in her natural rhythms, Valentina helps women reconnect to the pulse of their health and vitality - the menstrual cycle - so that they can live in alignment, harmony and Power. Valentina is based in Vietnam, offering in person workshops and online 1:1 coaching. We share many things in common and most recently the shared experience of having followed the softly rebellious call to winter. In this conversation we explored:- How both our wintering times unfolded, what filled and nurtured us during this time of turning inwards, what commitments we took and how we navigated fears and feelings of shame or guilt that arose with it. - What we harvested during the past weeks: We share our greatest insights and inspirations - how wintering allowed us to (re-)align with nature and drop into the power of darkness.- Why wintering in the season of winter is particularly profound … and that it is unnegotiable not to do it again this year!- The invitation of our monthly bleed and inner winter to carry those gifts into the new year and beyond … We wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR, may you be with the people you love, immerse yourself into the hunger of your female body and say YES to your unique version of the Soft Rebellion.
