Paul, though, believed that it is not right to use earthly riches for such enjoyment. He gave instructions to the rich believers who set their hope in God and not in their riches. This is to show that they really were experiencing eternal life, which is greater than what riches can offer. And they were taking hold of this, by using their riches to do good.
