How to Watch and Pray (Luke 21:34-36)

Should our primary focus be on trying to figure out when the Messiah comes back?  Should our primary focus be on trying to save ourselves?  Or, should we patiently wait for the things He said would happen to become a reality and concentrate on overcoming, becoming a better person and helping & serving each other?   Any significant world news will be discussed on this program according to Luke 21:34-36 and 1 Thessalonians 5:1-8.
