I also explore the balance between compliments and criticism, and how getting overly attached to either one can pull me out of my center. I share a simple three-step tool—consider, discern, decide—for working with anything people say, so you keep your power and your autonomy. Throughout the episode, I connect feedback at work to bigger life patterns: how I show up in partnerships, my tendency to shrink my own agency, and the reminder that everyone in my life is ultimately here to help me move forward.
