Joining us on this weeks podcast is Director, writer and producer Will Thorne who sits down with Giles Alderson (The Dare) and Lucinda Rhodes Thakrar (Arthur & Merlin: Knights of Camelot) to discuss how he made his debut movie Silent Night. Not only did the movie go into cinemas during Covid but has done incredibly well on VOD and DVD. Will discuss the inception, how he wrote it, brought the producers on board and got distribution. He also talks about making shorts and working in TV before breaking out into features. He discuss the hard work that has gone into making Silent Night, the favours and the late nights, the casting, how it felt on set, working with fellow producers Mark Lacey and Judd Tillyard, going to film festivals and the joy of seeing your film released.
