from Livin That Life – Digital Nomad Podcast · host Livin That Life

Digital Nomad Podcast w/ Evan of MotiveInMotion.com - from Times Square Saigon Vietnam - How we quit our jobs to become digital nomads. From YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyTXVhoBAHE&list=PLIsHX7vpse9kSKXXEX9UnpM3omyW3Qa1c&index=37 I met Evan at the Dropship Lifestyle conference in Chiang Mai in October '14. We both wanted to share our stories cuz it's still crazy that our big dream from our little apartments back home to quit our jobs to make passive income online and travel the world has started to become real. It's over a year later and we're still living out in SE Asia working full-time online, making a full-time online income that gets us by our here (we only spend around $1000 bucks a month out here). You start small with what you have and then grow your business from there. Evan sold his niche dropshipping website for 10k after 8 months and I was full-time making money off Amazon FBA about 6 months after the conference. We both do Amazon private labeling now, aka importing from Alibaba.com and selling on Amazon. Our Keys to Success: - Attending an conference to make friends on the same mission - Moving to Chiang Mai to live and work amongst other online people on the same mission, and to $ave Dat Money - to INVEST! Not spend on rent and food! - In Evan's case, having huge balls to drop out of college. In my case, having a best friend to move out here with. - Wanting it bad enough, being sick and tired enough of your job, boredom etc. And having the right mindset: "If they can do it, I can too." See a trend here? You must get amongst people on the same mission. We couldn't have made it happen just hunkered down in our apartments back home spending too much on rent. Saving money by living out here is key as well. Save as much as you can from your job and come out here and make it happen - if you want if bad enough. Because we did, that's a major Check out Evan's blog www.MotiveInMotion.com - tons of great free content to get your MINDSET started off in the right place! Leave a comment too! We want this all to be an open discussion so ask us anything!
