How we became who we are
from Transformed Life 2 Min Encouragement · host Daniel C Clark
Think with me for just a moment about how you would define yourself or how your friends would define you. For example, would they say that your good friend, or that you're very kind or gentle? Or that you're very curious or inquisitive? Or maybe they would say, sometimes you're angry? Would you define yourself also was in love with spring or liking summer or loving to swim? Well, here's why we're talking about that. Because today, I want you to think about how you define yourself and why you do that. Here's what I want you to be thinking about from that perspective. Say to yourself, I wound up being kind because and then answer the question. I wound up loving swimming, because an answer the question, the reason is, is that there's always a reason why we wound up liking the things that we do, or being the person that we are, for example, you might define yourself as being angry, I wound up being angry because or maybe you define yourself as I don't know, always defending yourself. So I wound up always defending myself because the reason that these are important is because it helps us understand that we are the things that we are because of the experiences that we've had. So, enjoy the homework. I love you. I'm Dan Clark.
