How we forgot the meaning of freedom | D. C. Schindler | TPP #30

from The Pioneer Podcast · host The Afrikaner Foundation

I spoke with the American philosopher, D.C. Schindler about the extent to which modern ideologies have distorted our conception of what it means to be free. He is a professor of Metaphysics and Anthropology at the Pontifical John Paul II Institute in Washington, D.C. He is the author of several books with a particular focus on the Western conception of freedom, including Freedom from Reality and Politics of the Real. In this conversation, Schindler explains that we have lost our traditional conception of what it means to be free, as a result of a distorted conception of freedom put forth by modern ideologies. We'd love to hear your thoughts. If you would like to support this podcast, please visit https://afrikaner.org/support/ to make a donation.
