How We Know Prayer Works - Followup Episode

Martin Tanner says we know prayer works from descriptions in thousands of near-death experiences where prayers are seen as "shafts of light" or a "beam of light" going up to God in Heaven, and God's answers to prayers are seen as shafts of light or a beam of light coming down from Heaven to the person praying. We know prayer works from hospital studies showing that patients for whom prayers are offered recover much quicker. How prayers are formulated makes a difference. Asking God to influence or help someone works better than asking God to take away someone's free agency.
