While there are concerns about students' reliance on A.I. like ChatGPT for homework, we discuss how A.I. does not necessarily degrade education and can be used effectively for idea generation and refining writing projects. John also mentions useful A.I. tools like Khan Academy's Conmigo, an A.I. chatbot for teaching math. They further highlight the need for critical thinking in using A.I., especially with A.I. possibly providing information that may be 80% correct. Furthermore, they discuss how A.I. could potentially alleviate issues with overcrowded classrooms by serving as a personalized tutor.
