The deal ncludes a club option for a third year. MLB Network first reported the deal. Rodriguez will make $2.5 million the first year, and $3 million in the second season. There is a $500K buyout should Texas not exercise the third-year option. Rodriguez, 28, spent the last two seasons pitching for the Chunichi Dragons in Japan.
