Watch This Episode on YouTube: https://youtu.be/X17_Y8DamVY In this episode of TAXI TV, we check your music-tagging chops for TV & Film placements! Yep, the tagging challenge is on, and this is your chance to play, "How Would You Tag This Music For TV?" in order to land more placements. Two weeks ago, we had tagging/metadata expert, Joe Brandt, teach us the metadata "rules of the road," and now we'd like to practice what he taught us! You guys submitted music with the tags you'd use, over the weekend, and we're going to keep them a "secret" until we've played the music and have our live show viewers weigh in with their suggestions, in real time! We'll also get Joe's opinion, and then do the big reveal - How did YOU tag your music? Let's see how close you and your fellow viewers get to nailing it! Let's see where we all agree or disagree, so we can learn together and get really, really good at this mysterious, and often under-used "craft" that can help you get more of your music placed in TV shows, commercials, and films! Why should we trust Joe's opinion? Read his bio, and you'll see! Here’s Joe’s Bio: Music Supervisor / Producer with over ten years experience in the entertainment industry. Skilled in Music Clearance, Licensing & Editing. Expert at curating and key-wording music based on Genre, Sub-genre, Tempo, Featured Instruments, and Mood. Composer and Publisher with BMI and a Member of The Guild of Music Supervisors. Holds degrees in Audio Engineering, Web Development and Communications. Also, thank you to everyone who submitted a Song or Instrumental to us on our Facebook Post. I’m looking forward to learning a ton from Joe and from you, so I hope you’ll join me! --------------------------------------- Watch Last Week's Episode: https://youtu.be/GbiM7j07AnY Learn More About TAXI Independent A&R: http://bit.ly/2mPVGYh Rub Elbows with Music Industry Pros at Our FREE Yearly Convention: http://bit.ly/2a9mwlp View Our Current Music Industry Opportunities: http://bit.ly/28JPUyd Connect with Fellow Songwriters on the TAXI Forum: http://bit.ly/2DENChs Listen on the Go with the TAXI TV Podcast: Apple Podcasts: http://apple.co/2afebwW Google Play: http://bit.ly/2a7cCQX Stitcher: http://bit.ly/2FuSTJQ Soundcloud: http://bit.ly/2icUDe0 TuneIn: http://bit.ly/2DCzKrd Follow Us On Social Media...
