How Your Mouth Gets You Into Trouble

I’ve said some stupid things in my day. Even worse than that, I’ve said things that have started fires in my relationships and business. Things that have be hurtful and damaging. If I’m being honest, it was because I was insecure, lacking confidence in myself. On the contrary, at my best, I’ve said encouraging things. Even better than that, I’ve said things that inspired people to believe more deeply, dig in, and build something meaningful. Things that motivated others and gave them perspective. THOSE things were born from security, confidence, and a desire to be generous to others. We all have a choice with each and every word we speak. Will it inspire others to grow and serve? Or, will it burn this place to the ground?
