Today the guys continue the series on how their fly wheel framework works.  The first spoke on the wheel connected to the SELF is the topic of health, both physical and mental Mark asks wether people are interested in self care? Mark brings up holistic health and his daughter the health coach Jim suggests that if you're going to help people with health you need to appear credible Mark talks about the guys being athletes and how that affected their health conscious nature and the importance of mental health Mark and Jim have friends who don't seem to be interested in self care Jim is currently into the carnivore diet and whole foods and values the benefit of good protein He also says you have to listen to your body and managing injury as we get older Being physically fit makes you more productive in all other areas of your life.  "I don't have time" is bullshit Jim connects all five areas with health Mark talks about his upbringing and the transition from traditional medicine the current holistic landscape Neither of the guys are fans of traditional medicine and believe that you can heal yourself with food Jim says the drug companies and medical industry are marketing companies Mark speaks about the popularity of prescription drug advertising Jim talks about rugby and fitness Jim transitions in to mental health and experimenting with drugs before getting off them finally Mark shares the way he thinks we should use drugs…but not long term - lifestyle choices Jim recounts how we met when Jim was struggling with depression some years back Mark reflects back on Mark says we're all fucked up Self awareness is the start…am I taking car of myself?
