ITL kicks off the show trying to find something to get excited about in tonight’s Texans preseason game against the Las Vegas Raiders. It may only be preseason, but there are still roster battles, young players and developmental storylines worth watching as Houston gets another opportunity to evaluate its roster before the regular season. The conversation then shifts to the Astros as the guys ask whether Houston fans are properly appreciating what Jeremy Peña has become. Despite dealing with injuries this season, Peña has continued to be one of the Astros’ most valuable players, bringing production at the plate, defense and athleticism at shortstop.
