这是一本好玩的绘本，是一本读起来很开心的绘本，是充满机智的一本绘本，是以儿童立场为出发点的一本绘本。这本绘本获得2013年凯迪克银奖、2013年美国图书馆协会年度好书、 2012年《纽约时报》畅销书。 ★荣获2013年凯迪克银奖 ★荣获2013年美国图书馆协会年度好书 ★荣获2012年《纽约时报》畅销书 故事是这样的：在山中一个叫跳跳沟的地方，长满了许多的胡萝卜。一只兔子，每次路过的时候，都会随意拔出好多的胡萝卜来吃。这个事情让胡萝卜们很生气，于是他们想出了一个主意，从这个主意诞生时开始，兔子就觉得有长得像胡萝卜的胡萝卜怪跟在自己后面或者在夜间出现在他的房间里。这可让兔子害怕得不得了，他担心他恐惧，然而这一切他的爸爸妈妈都不相信。于是他终于想出了一个办法……也从这个办法之后，胡萝卜怪消失了，他觉得终于不用害怕了。而胡萝卜们呢，那可再开心不过了。这到底是怎么回事呢？
