Hubbard Wins Bailey Howell Trophy for 3rd Straight Year

Josh Hubbard, Mississippi States basketball star, has made history by winning the Bailey Howell Trophy for the third consecutive year, a first in the awards twenty-two-year history. Hubbard, who has been the top college baller in Mississippi for three straight seasons, averaged 22.1 points per game this season, the most for a Bulldog since 1982-83. He also holds the record for most points by a State player against any SEC foe and is fourth on Mississippi States all-time scoring list. With the NBA early-entry deadline approaching, Hubbard has a significant decision to make, but his three trophies in three years solidify his status as the gold standard in Mississippi States basketball history.
