Hudson River Stripers Arrive as Spring Approaches

If you're looking for some good spots to try, the flats around Haverstraw Bay have been producing, especially on the incoming tide. The mouth of the Croton River is another solid bet. For shore anglers, Riverfront Park in Beacon has some good access. Don't forget your striper stamp and make sure to check the latest regulations. The season opened on April 1st, and we're limited to one fish between 28 and 35 inches per day. In addition to stripers, we're seeing some nice catches of white perch and catfish in the river.
