Hugging Your Ops (with Hassan Phills)
from Down to the Wire Hosted by Down to the Wire
This week's episode of the Down to the Wire Podcast is blessed with the presence of Hassan Phills who stops by DTTW HQ while in Ottawa for his comedy tour. After a sold out show at the Laugh Lounge the prior night, the Scarborough native talked about his short yet impactful career, how playing professional basketball helped his stand up comedy career and his perception of the Canadian comedy industry as it currently stands. In the second half, we get into our Back Page News, but we decided to mix it up this week. We read him headlines, he decides which ones are true and which are fake. This takes us down some wild conversations about religion, spirituality, his white friend named Grady (classic) and his beef with Greta Thunberg.
