Hugh Masekela : A look back at his life

The death of internationally acclaimed jazz icon Hugh Masekela will undoubtedly leave a void in the jazz industry. The legendary musician died last week after a long battle with prostate cancer. On the show today we remember Bra Hugh as he was affectionately known… while Bra Hugh’s death has sent shock waves in the music industry his family has encouraged his fans to use this time to celebrate his life as this is what he would have wanted. Memorial services were held for him this past weekend where pictures of Bra Hugh’s various stages in his life were showcased.
