Founder and CEO- Catalyst Design Group Pty Ltd, and KNOG Pty LtdFollowing a BA in Industrial design at RMIT, Hugo worked for 4 years in Europe and the UK. In 1992 Hugo founded Catalyst Design Group Pty Ltd. Since then Catalyst has designed and delivered consumer, electronic, telecommunications and sporting products from feasibility through concept, engineering right through to manufacture and supply.Catalyst now has the reputation as one of Australia’s leading Industrial Design and Brand Development companies. Its has the unique capability of taking products from establishing need, through all aspects of design and usability, Product Engineering, production management all the way to retail strategy and how products should resonate with wholesalers, retailers and customer alike.In 2002, with partner Malcolm, Hugo established KNOG Pty. Ltd. and launched their proprietary products onto the global market in over 50 countries throughout the world.
