Human Nature and the Pendulum Swing by Lucas Mack

The bully always seems superior until the ones being bullied swing back and stop the bully in their tracks. One of my favorite movies, Back to the Future shows Marty’s dad who was always afraid and ended up getting his arm twisted by Biff and eventually found the grit to swing back and knock Biff straight out. The pendulum is about to swing back and for those complacent, complicit, or cheering on this bully mentality that is sweeping the globe you’ll wish you had never sided with the bully in the first place. For those who feel bullied, I want to remind you that you are strong, sovereign, strategic and safe. Adjust accordingly and do not cower. To those bullying know this - eventually even the Germans after WWII were ashamed of not speaking out, and the rhetoric of, “just doing my job,” or “I didn’t know,” or “I thought it was for the greater good,” or “Public health trumps freedom of choice,” will be found on the wrong side of history and history will not be blind. Live and let live. The Bill of Rights are for all! Wake up EVERYONE! The wolf has convinced you that it’s eating you for your own good, when in reality it’s only for its own food.
