Beneath the familiar story of marriage, children, and rivalry is a deeply human story about love, rejection, longing, comparison, identity, fertility, duty, and the desire to feel chosen.Rachel is loved by Jacob, yet struggles with the pain of infertility. Leah becomes a wife without receiving the love she desperately desires, repeatedly hoping that what she can produce will finally make her feel wanted.
