Humanoid (2019)

The Title track from my forthcoming album, not exactly my best singing... Humanoid Im loving you if its the last thing I do Im loving you just like you want me to Ive been a labourer on a building site A waiter in a restaurant A barman in a public house A digger in a Graveyard for a day Just for a day I have been a bin man A bass player in a band Ive been a factory worker Done some dirty jobs, sometimes cash in hand Ive been a Father to a Daughter A Father to A son A Husband to a Loving Wife I always Knew she was the one Ive mixed tons and tons of compo Ive dug so many holes and filled them up with concrete Ive Had dispairing spells of signing on the dole Ive been an alcoholic and i have been a thief ive dabbled in narcotics been in trouble with the police Ive had my share of street fights Ive broken young girls hearts And I have been a casual racist back in the distant past But ive also been courageous Ive been there for my friends And I have now stopped counting all the money that ive lent And I have been an artist And ive been citizen void But the only thing I'll ever be is an Earthbound Humanoid
