The section ends with a searching question: When the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?2) The Pharisee and the tax collector (vv. 9–14)Two men pray, but only one is justified. The Pharisee trusts in his own righteousness, while the tax collector comes with nothing to offer except honest repentance.
