Humble Service
from SoulTalks with PB Hosted by Bong Baylon
Humble Service Scripture: "For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you." —Romans 12:3 (NIV) Reflection: In Fantastic Four, pride and independence kept the team from fulfilling their purpose at first. In the church, pride does the same. We must see ourselves clearly—not too highly, not too lowly—and recognize that we belong to a bigger story. True greatness in the Kingdom comes through humility and service. Prayer: Lord, strip away my pride and self-centeredness. Teach me to serve with humility and to see others with Your eyes. Discussion Question: Is there an area of your life where pride might be hindering your connection with others or your willingness to serve?
