Humbled For Purpose; Valley Of Suffering

1 Peter 5:10. Those who humble themselves before God and endure are gloried. Jesus humbled Himself. Even though the world abused Him, He persisted to please the Father. A good, strong foundation is needed and takes a lot of work, but does not look like much in the dirt. After aimlessly wandering, God gives us a direct purpose. Just because you are in a humbled position does not mean you humbled yourself. A lot of our world are wandering or self-serving. Moses, David, Joseph, and Job were humbled and given purpose. There are distractions of this world that are sapping my energy for the Lord. There is no easy route to being usable by God! Job: Though He slay me, I will serve Him. Why does it seem like new believers and mature believers are on fire but not in-between. God gives them a taste of the power of the power of God, but then the cares of this world come. You are in the valley of suffering. Endure. The mature believer, who has made it out of the valley of suffering, is expressing the power of God for others. Settle: To stand you back up in the place you fit; erect. Everythime you try to get back up you get knocked down again until God stands you back up. You're put back into action or recommissioned when the time is right and you are needed. If you try to avoid persecution and suffering to make your faith cost you nothing, you are a coward. 1 Peter 5:5-6. Submit & humble that He may exalt you.
