Early on, humility can feel like being brought down. Like losing something. Like being stripped of pride. But over time, it shifts. It becomes honesty. It becomes acceptance. It becomes freedom. The 12x12 talks about humility as the middle ground—the balance between thinking too much of ourselves and not enough. Not beating ourselves up… and not putting ourselves above anyone else either. And that’s where the gift is. Because when we’re not trying to prove anything… when we’re not comparing… when we’re not fighting to be right… life gets a whole lot simpler.
