Humility - Week 13

It is in times of trial and difficulty that we are forced to actually exercise real faith. Times of trial can be like putting on a new pair of glasses: It’s not that the world just got clearer and crisper but that you are better able to see it for what it is. We are no less dependent on God in times of ease and prosperity, but we are so much more aware of having to entrust ourselves to our heavenly Father in times of hardship.
