War, Politics, Free Speech & Unfiltered Real Talk

Got something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode! This episode of Cold World w/ DVJ & Michelle gets into some BIG conversations—and, as always, nothing is off the table. We start with the controversy surrounding Ed Sheeran, Macklemore, Israel and Palestine, talking about free speech, criticism of governments versus criticism of people, and the complicated emotions surrounding the ongoing conflict. We also discuss Iran, nuclear weapons, America's role in international conflicts, and whether ordinary Americans actually want another war. From there, we get into Trump, power, politics and the language surrounding war, including the discussion about military terminology, the changing public perception of the United States, and what it means when political messaging starts shaping how people see the country and the world. Then comes a wild conversation about Boosie BadAzz and an alleged $600,000 attempt to secure a presidential pardon—including the reported promises, the people allegedly involved, the money, and what happened when the pardon never came through. And because this is Cold World, we eventually leave international politics behind and get back to real life: apartment problems, water being shut off, broken building equipment, Chewy, grocery shopping, work, food, and all those random everyday conversations that somehow turn into a whole discussion. It's politics, war, race, free speech, celebrity news, money, America and everyday life—all discussed the Cold World way. 🎙️ Cold World w/ DVJ & Michelle Hashtags: #ColdWorld #ColdWorldPodcast #ColdWorldWithDVJAndMichelle #DVJAndMichelle #MilwaukeePodcast #WisconsinPodcast #Milwaukee #Wisconsin #RealTalk #Unfiltered #NoFilter #RealConversations #Politics #Trump #DonaldTrump #Israel #Palestine #FreePalestine #Gaza #Iran #War #MiddleEast #ForeignPolicy #FreeSpeech #Macklemore #EdSheeran #Boosie #BoosieBadAzz #PresidentialPardon #PoliticsAndCulture #Race #SocialIssues #America #CurrentEvents #NewsAndPolitics #CelebrityNews #EverydayLife #MilwaukeeRealTalk #ColdWorldRealTalk
