At some point, One of Franz Listz most famous pieces was broadcast on either radio or TV (same thing of coarse) and as it was broadcast it raised high above the earth and melted into space ... this version/homage follows that never ending journey...{it is still going...). As the broadcast's wavs and particles move across the galaxy, they collidce and interact with other cosmic elements. This is the role the Slayer2 (Electric guitar emulator, sadly no longer availlable) VST takes as it is backed back amp sim provided by IKMultimedia. This guitar is highly controlled(automated) in 3 major area: the tension of a string, the velocity of the strum and the tension of that velocity as it interacts with the strings tension--in other words, this allow me to "bend" the string and by adding more or less "Ring modulation" to the mix of the Guitar I can create the fx that slowly mutate as the song progresses. This allows me to tie the proformance of the guitar in a very emotional way that is generally not found in automated instruments. Think of the Piano as how it should sound and the guitar as how it begins to sound as it erodes on its journey across time and space...
