Hunger For God // Tuning In (Part 4)

Are you tired of feeling disconnected and distant from God? In a world filled with countless distractions, it's easy to lose sight of His presence. But imagine a life where you're constantly tuned in to the divine frequency, where every moment becomes an opportunity to experience God's love and guidance. Just like the days when television signals were fuzzy and unclear, our spiritual reception can be affected by various interferences. Yet, the good news is that God is always present, just waiting for us to tune in. His promise to Joshua resonates with us today: "Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."It's time to stop relying on our fluctuating feelings to determine God's presence. He doesn't vanish when we feel distant or low. Instead, we need to eliminate the static noise of worry, doubt, and self-indulgence that hinders our connection with Him.But we can't despair, for God never stops seeking us. He wants to in every aspect of our lives, from our relationships to our careers. There's no need to segment our spirituality or reserve it for Sundays alone. God doesn't sign off at the end of a service; He's with us when we wake up, in our cars, at work—always present.So, let's take charge of our spiritual reception. Talk with the Lord like you would with a good friend. Be receptive to His leading and don't allow sin or grudges to block your awareness. Fill your mind with His Word and be available to His touch.
