So good The fourth coming lost mouth which is lost Cuz he's gonna work on the next or like book right next year start like for So after he finishes You need to get around the best boy I've heard he's like written so talking to someone like Emma John doing something written for like another one finish And other authors like yes, that's the way that time Okay, so because like he like grew up reading those and then the author passed away after and so they needed something to kind of take What was already planned out and just kind of right so the original author's wife and editor picked random So he's like looking at all this stuff. I think it was supposed to be just one book like one big book And he's like there's too much stuff here, so it's good into people and they're all huge But we'll start reading we have Hunter man here To incredibly smart people but let's To it's all right the other is a misborn Misborn plays out in parts and you guys can interrupt when you want But and then so misborn plays out in parts much like some movies do over a time in between six months to a year One when one part ends the another starts leaves you with questions about the future of characters and their plans And I don't know how to pronounce a lot of words.
He has these boxes, so Just I think that's how you pronounce it The city where the story takes place Main characters themselves are by now interpretation clean They all have rough dirty backgrounds despite that most of them seem to have very high walls These main characters virtue gets introduced and shown to the eyes of a distrusting of used teenage Scott Who works with the rough crew in a scene to overthrow the talent or who owns the Scott people Which he lends out to the nobleman who mistreat them in any way they seem fit as well as working in or working in this functional world Is in many ways related full to the history of america story wrapped in shout out mystery like many days about the word He keeps the history about him and the real reason he does what he does a secret The story is laid out Like a movie from the character development to how it goes to most important moments in the story and jumps in time where big changes and that's actually She's art the prologue leaves you with a bunch of questions about kelsey your second main character for kosar Who gives the impression of fearless criminal who is doing something against the nobleman for the scott Then he jumps to van a low criminal scott who's living in the middle The this girl who is trying to survive is used by the criminal leader for her ability to push what emotion she wanted on the people The crew was trying to scan Then gets on kelsey your screw with incredibly talented individuals crazy plan which ends up which means part one then it jumps Once ahead into their plan each part showing Uh been growing and they're crazy plan folding sort of in a weird large scale Uh, it plays out as a heist spy infiltration government overtaking action would be Bit slower sense you got to read it It's not laughing an hour But uh just as the civil war between the north and south or slightly this plans to take down the lord ruler is to free the scott from slavery Unlike this of a war the scott have lost hope of freedom the lord ruler has built himself up as immortal god Which would be foolish to impose someone who can't be killed uh there Uh, but someone yeah can't be killed there Which is big part of what kelsey your enemies grew are fighting for something long forgotten by the scott Hope that they can do anything then just survive The more you learn about the system in which the kingdom is run the more you want been kelsey to succeed in helping scott This point is exciting. Yeah, it's exciting. Keep you wondering what's going to happen with the next part in the adventure While you'll be rooting for kelsey's crew to overthrow the ruler and give the scott so Yeah, I know the um Part about like the contrast so with it. He doesn't want to like be a book essay So that's why there's really not that much information about it So, I mean, that's a general gist of what's happening, but it's not really like gives much detail So that's why yeah, but it's kind of my interpretation But then a whole contrast and compare between america and the book I mean, I don't know I was trying to take it out of this and just kind of make it kind of more relatable and see like because you can There's some similarities about in all government you're gonna see similarities, but I don't know Makes sense.
What do you guys think of the book? I mean, I love the book Yeah I haven't finished all of so I read the kelsey or on arkman bound about that But I didn't read the holding because I needed to read some other Other other books before I got further in it. I mean, is there is there more about him in like the ends of arkman bound? No, pretty much everything with him repressive by now.
Okay, there's Oh, there is like um another small short story. I was like, oh no, no It's like it's actually before this book. It's just like a really small story. Not much happens in it, but it's kind of bad So there is that you could do that If you like seeing kelsey you're breaking the no one houses No, I think I I think I've read that one.
Okay, and he's like this crazy short guy with crazy. Okay, he has like Different beliefs than kelsey or but he's kind of what he was like wanting to kill all the nobleman too. He was even more brutal. Yeah We got taught that because it was a little questionable sometimes But it's understandable Something yeah, he uses arms.
I mean straight Isn't that the one where you can see the future of it? That's why it has like a grand scenario around it. Yeah, that is right. Yeah, that's what I can show about that I think he loves it.
He steals In that short story, and then he's like got it in the book And I think it's it's the one that they didn't even know what he does And I think when they use it, it's I forget wait, but it like lets them see like an alternate version Like that or like a password in gold? Right. No, gold is cool. It's cool.

The lord, anyways, so Kelsey Orr he gets shredded in the limit So if you're gonna read the books, but he means the ruin is more or less the 10th medal or anyways, it's the You figure out that it's part of what you figure out in the first thing. You don't figure that out in the first that it's ruined, you know? Yeah, that's a lame version. So yeah, definitely where all are is the metal that like helps to like see combat in the future.
That's super like Yeah, and it's like and then also the metal is like super high-priced and so it's super valuable But they all just think it's like a metal when really it's a part of like this You want to call it a DD. What do you call it? It's like as close as they can get to a DD. Yeah, it's one 16th of the god.

Let's split into 16th of the god. Somehow this being shattered into 16 physical shards But that happened and other people could take up the shards, which all represented some aspect of that person Really? What's the mission in this case? And then they would kind of over time just embody that trait.
Yeah No, yeah, and then also Yeah, and then like we went in the oh, yeah, I'm reading the Stormlights So I'm guessing that has something to do with the shards. Okay. I won't take Should I just go to his page? How far are you?
He's like where he went on his first bridge run. We're all about that. I'm right where like Denil didn't the The guy he he's just like he's having one of his visions in ice warm in He's with his son rear in so that's the part of that. He's like So I'm a little past his first calories first Dry the proper mind.
The proper mind is like the wiki for all this stuff Scadrill yeah Scadrill is completely artificial entirely created by ruined preservation working together. It's kind of cool Yeah, I remember that was weird because like you can read about that in the outcome about it But like they specifically modeled it off with another planet. That's kind of where they all came from Which is like like the gravity is exactly the same as that place and they know that like a lot of worlds They've got these different so like on I think it's on this restaurant restaurant We're actually like wait later. It's like if you put it to someone for everyone put them on a restaurant They would be able to like flow do ridiculous things That's also I'm sure like you'll eventually figure out like could you like because they all these different worlds have like different powers When you go to like you're like unscadrill and you have like I don't know you're a deny or something and you go to a different world Can you get to know there and I do like you like use their resources?
Why does this only world or does it like I have to be from the world that ruined preservation created? Because there's Chris and that's And the guy from Warbreaker. Yes We're still like spoilers done Yeah So I remember I know that like the the cross over between abilities between worlds is really confusing Because I know there's like lots of questions about my blood Like what because if you can't feed off a breath like I guess yes, but he just feeds off with the vestature Which is another thing like to describe what a vestature is. Is it you sure?
No My blood is like so like in Warbreaker they have like part of the magic is being able to like give life or breath to like inanimate objects Yeah, so like the first I think I'm a product that would be like animates. This is like cloth doll So basically I think my blood was created by just doing that but like to access like they gave it so much But it also is just like you and it really likes going to destroy you So it's like sort of like a Deadpool. I mean, I mean, so it's not like I'm pretty bad I can just love destroying stuff. It doesn't destroy stuff.
It's not like super intelligent Like it'll kind of talk to you it like it doesn't have a big sense of morality It just knows that it's a sword and like Like if someone if someone with some random person like holds it like a normal sword They just will impulsively kill anyone like that's because of the sword The sword then finishes the person away. Yes. Yeah, and then it gets back to fashion. It's like I did good Like that's all I know so it's really simple but like it is more than just like Yeah, it's kind of it's still kind of something.
I don't know how to go on this trail Yes um back to the years of like I Don't know if someone could use I'll see um Will Shard say I think that like they shouldn't still be able to but I don't I don't know if like being near the shard is Yeah, like yeah, like my schedule is where those shards are and the magic comes from shards. Okay. So from preservation right? I guess Kendra Kendra.

I like it Yeah, or you can just stab an element or steal the powers So great, it's really messed up But it's interesting and like the longer that like it's like once you stab an element or that ability stays with that metal Um for a certain amount of time like the longer that it's away from a body or source of like human life And it starts to join the power. Yeah Which is I think they do they show them doing it like where they literally have like the elements are lying on top of the Quizster to be and they just like go straight through They think does that have a marsh?
Yes, it does Is marshy kills your brother? Okay. Yeah, because I remember seeing Maria. They talked about him That's scary That's really messed up unless you know the context of that Sad but Yeah, no, it's No, it's like it's like when I got to learn marsh this story better I kind of figure out which one I like better marsh or Kelsey or his marsh He's just like he's like so reserved and serious all the time, but which is it God's like it's only humor because he's so serious and just funny Especially with him with a talisman or you know, that's not in the talisman the uh, what's his name?
Uh the guy who can like Hold back like um, you can be like over a while and then you can help or you can like we can face to face Yeah It just shows Characteristics think that's the opposite characteristics. Oh into just like yeah, so you can see like Oh, this would like to point out more what their characteristics are in the story. Yeah, like all this person is more sarcastic or His ability his stubbornness. I guess you would say that what constantly smiling though He's gone through like a very crappy life This shines his characters because marsh is such a big opposite Okay, cool.
What the next each other like they like highlight each other's personalities because there's a Is Rishar a lantern is also is Rishar on that or is that just storm? Just a storm like oh, we're sure as the thing In the capital and the capital yeah, it's like a lot of rishars on this. Oh, okay Actually, do you know what the other ones sell Conversations I was Nobody's ever done what marvels done connecting the cotton. Yes I mean, that's kind of the whole direction for the whole world though Like he's confirmed that like in the final series, which is gonna be a space opera Mistborn space opera faster than I travel is achieved with almighty. That's like, yeah So yeah, so so dragon seal poets novel much kind of exists already in a super obsolete So you can read the first draft of that book at the BYU library because it was his thesis But that I think it's gonna be like the capstone to the power of things then won't finally learn how it's actually pretty in full So wait, what do you mean when you say cannon cannon means like Official story like it's part of how to describe it. I guess the real story like it's something that's not canon It's just kind of like but it's a real established thing. I guess it doesn't actually happen So so like in this case the original draft a drink so it's non-canon because you know He read at the time probably was fine, but he things have changed since then. Okay, so it doesn't actually apply to what's actually going on So like an officially published work would be canon.
Okay, because it's there it's really is happening An example of this is when Disney took over Star Wars and they made a lot of books that used to be canon They're star wars not canon because of their movies that they're really like those two worlds don't mix with a chunk They contradict it. That's probably the best thing. It's something that's non-canon is going to contradict something that is canon That's part of the real story, right? So pretty much anything that isn't published is it's probably it's getting some the way of something that is how you want to do that Okay, so with like the star wars, you're saying it's the movies now we're canon and then so that made the book that we're publishing now Right, something most of them Any like any book that's published is the oldest thing I've known this time Like that's a canon because it was designed to measure the story that the movies are going through Yeah, all of that and you'll know these two like anything movies again shows are canon New books again, but like all those old books.
Yeah, I thought it'd be coming out since the 80s are all like those stories went down a different path that doesn't make sense before they went out Yeah, so they just kind of so they consider those mocking. Interesting for the kind of like this thing So Then like with the star wars club wars like that was directed by J. Abrams, right? Like animated to show don't think he was involved if he wasn't So would that be considered canon or they said yes Especially since there's more of a company Even if you just like I would almost even say just like find a list of all the best So like there's a lot of episodes that are dedicated to don't know They're what I've heard That's really good I haven't seen those yet Sorry, some of my favorite lyrics there's some really cool stuff.

It's called the wheel of thought that's it There was a weird thing with an actual wheel of time a TV pilot I don't know what channel they're on it aired it like three in the morning or something Whoa, and like they just had kind of put it together and aired it as like a bit to try and keep the rights or something Like they had the TV rights, but they didn't really make it And then I just kind of put this pilot up. It was bizarre. I don't totally remember all the weird circumstances but It didn't go so and they don't have rights and it made the real time Because I know I think that yeah, it was bad and like they weren't supposed to have the rights anymore or something I don't know. It was a mess, but I think I think Amazon is doing something with it That's cool.

I think that, I don't think we actually officially, like they're literally not too much information. I think it's, it would be safe to assume that it's going to be live action. Right. Because I imagine that would be the direction that they would take it.
But I mean, especially to people that we know. The studio that owns the rights of this one, they were participating in the song movies. So I'm assuming it's going to be live action? So pretty much everything under there.
Like this live action. Yeah. Because I think the big movies that they've kind of dealt with are like, they had something iron in three. Yeah.
They helped produce. Yeah. They had their side in all this. So it's all like, iron in three is going to be so.
They're like a serious movie company. But like, if you like it's not like universal. So if you see, that's the weird thing. It's like, if you look at their website, like Ironman 3, like the big ones, but like everything else needs to be like, I don't know what it is.
It's kind of smart stuff. So they're kind of like, I don't even know how much they're all doing. But they did something. I don't.
So we had that though. Yes. It's cautiously optimistic. Again, like, it's storm like also not being a movie.
Yeah. Because it's still might as storm like. And it's huge. And I don't think, I think you really agree that the movie is not enough space for all of that stuff.
It just would not work very well. It's like three more than these books right now. Yeah, exactly. Like that's how he says it too.
It's like, I literally write them as a trilogy. But probably not in one body. That's crazy. So hopefully, I think there still looks really like that could be a show that's kind of a consensus.

I think they do really good job. They can see the thing with it just being like, not that like the people who own the rights that cause me or they're like not that big of a company like Disney or something where they can just grab a ton of money into it. You make it incredibly well polished. That's my only name.
Because you can do live action. But then you can do really good live action. Yeah, I think that is the issue. It's like, because something like Mistborn is probably going to be pretty effective.

You have to do the city. You have to do the magic. Like blue lines. If they choose to represent those all the time.

I would think. But I mean, if you're like looking from the vision of a Tin Eye. Well, not a Tin Eye. Okay.
So with a Tin Eye, that would be different visual effects. But what is the copper? What is the blue effect? Yeah.

The flying would have to be like film graphed really well for how they fly using the pushing and pull. Because like a normal super hero. Superman is flying around because they're very pulling in just one direction or pushing from one direction. You go in a straight on to nothing or away from that thing.
You have to be very presentable And then yeah, you have to figure out how to like show that in the body because if you're in a pole That's gonna show a different effect in your body and then if you're pushing Yeah, isn't it like if they pull it's literally like from here like you're just a little bit tugged like from the center Yeah, it's you'd be such a see that's the thing is like such a big story Yeah, it's such a lot so many components. I think it was Supposed to be good for that It's like the little part of that form is fantastic Right now I think they're always depicted as being like kind of normally tall But yeah, they've got a bunch of little spikes going through their body. Yeah, so it's basically nice. Yes Yeah, there's like how they see is purely through elements.
Yeah, they just see that all Yeah, they just see that all the time ones that go there and they can sense an element easy is because it's covered there If they have a proper swing. Yeah, I think they're the intent of those things to basically make them artificial this one. Yeah So like they ever take it from like perspective of March when he said it was this year or another It was this year and I was like do a lot of special things just like the visuals I would literally just like No, yeah, I'm in the counter to Like if you're showing your body their constant like morphing Yeah, I didn't hear of it is when I have like the like rock stones skeletons like the ones that aren't Yeah Because yeah, then you'd have to have you can't yeah, you have to have it all be CGI from dog They even showed him continuing to block right like they show like they talk at least More feet into the dog And there's like the part if they don't have a body like there's the part where he's in where he's like in the Condor of how place he is in the prison and he's literally just like this gelatinous mass of the bottom of it Yeah, you can't do anything because he has the bones, but he has a spike. Yeah, right because I guess that gives them Or but there's even once in the ones.
