Hunter Profile with Ben Brinlee

On this episode of the Nine Finger Chronicles, Dan talks with Ben Brinlee about deer hunting in his home state of Oklahoma. Dan and Ben discuss the different terrain throughout the the state and go in to detail about the property that he has access to hunt in the Northeastern part of the state. Ben talks about how his 30 acre family farm is the perfect travel corridor between to larger pieces of neighboring farms. Then, Ben tells the three year story of the buck he harvested last year. He was introduced to the buck as a two year old and had trail camera pictures of him every year. This buck had a split G2 that was very noticeable so the 160 class buck was easy to identify when he finally came through during the 2018 season. Finally Ben talks to us about a huge mature 8 pointer that he plans on holding out for for this upcoming archery season.
