Hunting Scrapes Masterclass w/ Troy Pottenger

Hey everyone, welcome to episode 143 of the Antler Up Podcast!On this week's episode I was joined by none other than Troy Pottenger. This could be a great week for deer hunting no matter where you are in the country and some more great times in the woods are ahead.  Troy explains the importance of a scrape and how hunting scrapes have molded his hunting style to figure out mature whitetail bucks.  This episode has a ton of information with specific stories that go along with each strategy that Troy shares.  Early on in the podcast Troy talks about a pattern to specific months when it comes to killing whitetails.  How he prioritizes hunting community scrapes in October, correlation with cold fronts and bucks hitting scrapes, the importance of terrain features to create a mock scrape on or where to locate these primetime scrapes.  This is a great podcast to get out a pen and paper for and write down what Troy is spitting out.  You hear it in his voice just how passionate Troy is about this stuff and I am thankful that he took the time to share all this information with me and the listeners!
