Hurley Draws Line in College Sports Chaos | Big East Basketball News

Dan Hurley is furious about the unraveling of college sports, slamming the idea of pro players—like those in the Arena League or CFL—returning to college teams. He calls it absurd, drawing a line against the modern chaos, insisting on building programs through high school recruiting and organic development. His frustration spiked this week after a judge’s restraining order allowed former NFL players back into NCAA play, turning his concerns into reality as the season looms. Hurley calls it an “unreal mess,” questioning the future of eligibility and what it means to be a college athlete in today’s fractured landscape.
