Hush - 2016 (review)

Day 24 in 60 Days of Halloween continues the combined fears week of Child in Peril & Being Powerless/Trapped, the fears of Kevin and Jennifer Sluder (of Sunshine Boy Productions)! Tonight's movie starts Kevin's half of the week and the fear of being powerless/trapped with Hush - a simple, but solid home invasion film from director Mike Flanagan. This is the second movie from Mike Flanagan in this year's 60 Days of Halloween, the first of which was Before I Wake. And while I had mixed feelings on Before I Wake, Hush is a much more solid film that definitely makes me want to see more of Flanagan's work!
