एक टोपीवाला गावोगावी फिरून टोप्या विकत असे. कडक उन्हामुळे थकून तो एका झाडाखाली झोपला. माकडांनी त्याच्या रंगीबेरंगी टोप्या घेऊन डोक्यावर घातल्या. टोपीवाला घाबरला नाही; त्याने स्वतःची टोपी जमिनीवर फेकली. माकडांनीही नक्कल केली आणि टोपीवाल्याला टोप्या परत मिळाल्या.गोष्टीचे तात्पर्य – संकटाच्या वेळी घाबरून न जाता शांतपणे आणि हुशारीने विचार केल्यास समस्येचा मार्ग सापडतो.Once there was a cap seller who traveled from village to village.
