Husker247 Podcast: Taumua talk and recruiting superlatives

Mike Schaefer and Brian Christopherson got together on Monday to talk about where Nebraska’s recruiting class sits after the latest addition in Preston Taumua. First though the two discussed what Taumua means in the class and why it reflects well on the future for Donovan Raiola in his attempts to bring more players from Hawaii to the mainland and specifically to Nebraska.  Then the two size up what the efforts have been on the offensive line with a conversation about the commitments the Huskers have so far and how Logan-Magnolia’s Grant Brix is the biggest target on the team’s board at this time.  After a short break the duo returned to run through the Summer Superlatives and walked through some of the categories and discussed a few possible answers, why it’s difficult to find an instant impact player is in the class and just who might be the best player in Nebraska’s 2024 class.
