Husker247 Podcast: Wrapping up the 2023 spring game

Back on regular schedule following the spring session, Husker247 convened a podcast on Tuesday to go over the Red-White Game and to discuss the latest recruiting happenings.The podcast opens with Mike Schaefer getting thoughts from Michael Bruntz and Brian Christopherson about what stood out the most to either of them with Saturday’s scrimmage.From there each were asked thoughts on a variety topics including Tony White’s 3-3-5 defense, thoughts on the offensive line performance. how the tight ends played and who stood out from the secondary. After a brief pause in the action the show resumes with more recruiting talk as each of Nebraska’s last three commitments are discussed. Things start with Ian Flynt before moving to Willis McGahee and finally Caden VerMaas. Then the trio discusses a handful of recruits who came in for the visit, where things might be sitting for those individuals and how it has all shaped up for Nebraska as it heads into what figures to be a busy evaluation period.
